    Johnny doesn't consider that

Also who the hell is actually going to score on that first line?

Patrick Kane isn't waiving for New Jersey, And Johnny Gaudreau stays in Calgary for that low ball offer. Johnny Gaudreau will want around $11,000,000 x 7 to sign anywhere on the open market. He'll take slightly less in Calgary due to the 8th year offered.

They’ll just play keepaway so that our goaltending doesn’t face any shots. Will be fun to watch.

I know you are trying to insult NJ, but when you say the same thing every time, it’s just annoying. Get some new material.

Has nothing to do with being insulting, Everything i said on here is mere fact. Kane isn't leaving the 7th worst team for the 4th worst team. If Kane waives it's for a contender not New Jersey.

IK there isn't a trade offer for Kane, but would NJ do Mercer or Holtz + 1st for him. (Ik that seems a lot but that's the price)

    Pretty underrated goal scoring

Kane is on pace for almost 30 goals over 82 games
Hughes would be on pace for 40+ goals over 82 games
Johnny is on pace for 40+ goals

This was really just for fun to see Gaudreau-Hughes-Kane together. I love Kane, but hanging onto these assets is probably best for us.

I agree that NDJ should hold on to their assets, but imo I feel like a haul for Kane is going to be massive. Kane is still a hell of a player but the main reason I believe he'll get a massive haul, Kane is a role model and he sells. His jersey sales are top 10 in the league, and owners would do anything for that profit revenue.

I agree with all your points.
This is still the Crosby-Kane era.

The only rub, if Kane does decide to go, he will likely pick his own destination. If he says, “I want to go to XYZ”, that team will find a way. But it would limit any bidding war for him. Buyer probably sets price.

My guess is that management sits him down to decide his future over the off-season. I think Davidson will do something similar to the Fleury trade by having talks with teams interested in him and Kane will be the one pulling the trigger. But I think there will be a bidding war, just that Kane will accept or veto a team that's bidding on him.

Not that it's all about money, but if CGY offers Gaudreau 10.5x8, which I think they will. A team like NJ would have to offer 12x7 on the open market to match that and I think we can all agree that as good as Gaudreau is, he shouldn't have the 2nd highest cap hit in the league
