WHY? OH WHY? Does everyone want Faska? The guy is another player just like what we have, a player than cant score. Montreal doesnt need to add more garbage to the team they need to get rid of the garbage they got and get some young prospects. You wanna do a deal with Dallas, then I suggest going after Wyatt Johnston or Mavrik Bourque, and if you want an everyday player look at Hakanpaa, dude is signed for another year his a RHD, makes very little, over 200 hits a season and over 100 blocked shots .No more dumpster diving.

Even if Hoffman was the only option to trade Barrie for, I'd just opt to keep Barrie. For all his shortcomings (some of which are overstated), he's a genuine offensive threat from the right side and has played his best hockey under Woodcroft. Hoffman is exactly the kind of W the Oilers should be avoiding: 1-dimensional defensive burdens.

He isn't even 1 dimensional at this point, he hasn't scored in over 20GP and he is supposed to be a goal scorer lol he's just pain awful now, doesn't battle for the puck, 0 hockey IQ some plays he makes I'm like.....WUT my nephew is peewee doesn't do those mistakes.
