I'd assume Rangers sign Copp (and let Strome walk), but value-wise, I think these are pretty solid.

I agree the right move is trading JT, but he should get a better return than that, especially if we retain 50%

Also doubt we’d get a 2nd with Marino in the Boeser deal. Maybe a lower pick or a straight swap

Such a harsh response haha. Give some feedback. Boeser is coming off of an "off" year and is still on pace for 25+ goals and 50+ points... that isn't a cheap pick up

NP its just been said alot
so Letang is uncertian to come back so Marino is there only option
hes also young and signed to a hell of a deal
Boeser would be more expensive and doesnt put you close to marinos importance to pitt if that makes sense

The assumption would be that Letang re-signs, otherwise I see why Marino is more valuable to PIT than to other teams around the league. Objectively, Boeser's value is higher than Marino's so PIT would need to add maybe not a 2nd though

If this is the offer they take it and add Copp as well. Move some $ if needed. This offer without the pick protection, is a slam dunk. I’d add a 2nd

You have been anti-JT Miller for a while in various ACGMs. But what I keep missing is how adding a point-per-game, versatile forward who plays in all phases DOESN'T make sense to a team that is 1 of those players away from contending....

Maybe because A. We cant afford him past 1 season B. Resigning Copp is free C. We are already contending 106 points with 5 games left D. we already had him he was a locker room cancer and didnt put us over the edge

Re-signing him doesn't affect the NYR next year... he is under contract. Like Copp, JT plays all forward positions but produces more offensively and drives his line. 106 in teh regular season isn't contending for the cup. Maybe JT is different at 29 than he was at 24, surely produces differently and is a clear leader. Give me more poor takes, this is fun

Lol as you can clearly see I said "cant afford him past 1 season". I never said Copp was better, I said he was free to resign. 106 points with the best goalie in league is contending. Vancouver has never won a cup in 52 years. ALL FACTS

L.O.L. Vancouver has never won a cup so JT Miller isn't helpful to NYR... I was kidding when I said to keep the poor takes coming but you nailed it.

Losing Schneider isn’t worth a year of JTM. But of course winning a cup changes that on some level but it’s not worth the risk and losing Schneider weakens the D. I’m still probably passing unfortunately. I’d add another 1st before Schneider.
