Pass on Bailey we have enough offensive defensemen. Stick your cap issues somewhere else in the league

Jets accept, Logan Stanley in the top 4 is a terrible idea

I think that the Islanders system would benefit him tbh

I would hope so for Isles fans sake, he isn't a defensive defenceman. He is a low danger point shot spammer who is bad defensively

If anyone can turn a crappy defenseman into a good one it's Trotz.

Jets accept this trade.

I think the isles system making defenseman better isn’t true - the isles have drafted a lot of stud defenseman.

Stanley wouldn’t be much better than Chara

Palmieri has been very good this season, even when the points weren't coming. Shouldn't be trading him for a vastly inferior player, even if it does give us a little more cap flexibility

Burakovsky will not play for Trotz again.
Bailey is a fit for Arizona, $5M cap hit but only $3.5M in actual salary.
Palms has a Full NTC.
Stanely could be had for a 3rd or Bellows. Either way he is not a Top4 D-man.
Hinostroza is not needed since Palms is not going anywhere.

OTT doesnt have any interest in paying for Bailey. Too much term at a redundant position.

Not to mention his age.
