Nash for JVR? They won't do that. Kerby Rychel is a forward not a d-man. Lupul who isn't playing for Bieksa who does play.

Why would you want Marincin taken when Fehr was brought in for that reason.

You also overpay Brown to $3M for 82 games and Hyman $2.5M for 6 goals.

You should try watching some hockey.

Starting early today eh? Ok so.....Hyman scored 10 goals not 6. ALL goals count. Not just the ones you want to count. Brown is a 20 goal scorer...yes it was over 1 season but as with life you have to take some risk. Brown closer to 2-2.5 mil for 2 or 3 years. That's why they have bridge contracts. To see if it was a fluke or if they really got something.

I keep saying 6 with Auston Matthews. Brown only has 1 season, you don't need to pay him that much right away. Besides why should Brown sign term when he can be a UFA soon and cash in if he has 2 more good years?

Yes, but Brown will NEVER be a $5M-$6M player, his max is around $3M, so why are you paying him $2M right away?

Again, why are you "taking risks" and screwing up your cap right away.

It only takes a little bit of research to see what comparable contracts around the league for similar aged players with similar point production. You keep on insisting on sounding like a spoiled child freaking out with biased opinions being spouted as facts rather than taking a few moments and backing your point with various recent contracts. I love counterpoint...and although you have toned it down a bit in the last 24 hours...you are not coming across here as a well thought out fan of the game which you might actually be.

I did a quick search and found an article comparing Brown and Hyman to similar aged players with similar points using last year (the most recent you can get) from various teams.

Mid way down it shows they should get between $2 and $2.5 MIL

Edit: meant to say with the rants you have had you are not coming across very well although you might actually be a well thought out fan of the game. Looking to see this site grow with great discussions and you have a lot of opinions which could be a real positive addition.

That's a good site and a good analysis. What people keep forgetting is that all those players had at least 150 games of experience, neither Brown or Hyman have 100.
