You are going to have to have a great sales pitch on Norlinder for this to make any sense…especially because he’s a LHD…which the Wild have a plethora of!

I agree, it would make more sense for Montreal to trade the Calgary 1st in place of Norlinder here.

There's no amount of marketing that can make this deal make sense. Norlinder is talented but he's nothing special at all.

I think you need to fit three more salaries under the cap, which is one reason this is really hard to do. That probably means you have to find nearly $3m of this roster salary to shed. It's not easy. I expect multiple moves this summer by Guerin to try and make this all work.
