I love Howard but he's not close to NHL ready and if we move up, it would be for a RD like Casey imo

We desperately need another scorer, we have Barron and Mailloux as well as guys like Harris, Romanov and Guhle who can all play RD as well so I don't think moving up for a RD makes a lot of sense if we can draft another top 6 scorer. Thats just my opinion though lol.

Edit** I only put Howard in as a place holder for Drouin cause I am not sure what will happen with him

I do agree we could use another scorer but as much as I hate to say this, Howard probably won't happen because he's small, we already have Caufield and Gallagher as small wingers and while I don't think size should be used to evaluate players, i doubt managements gets another one

I never even looked at his size LOL, I agree with you though a lot of management's look at size as a major factor.

No way MTL trades Harris to move up 10 or so spots in the draft.

I doubt they do either, just included him as an example of a young LHD who can bring back a decent return and is expendable due to organizational depth.
