Agreed, Dubois is a 60 point center (which is fine) but what we need though is an 80+ point center. We already tried to pretend Dvorak could be more than what he is let's not make that mistake twice.

Nah I don't think this would work imo, would rather keep Dubois than trade him for that.

I'd probably look elsewhere that Dubois for that top line Center - especially with the pressure added to Francophones in the Quebec market.

Dubois is a win at all costs type of guy who is the main reason behind Connor getting a potential 50-90 season. Even if he may be a 60 point C, his value is way more

Would doubt the Jets make any trades involving PLD. That said, two firsts + middle 6 winger + young fringe NHLer on an ELC + rando prospect is pretty solid for PLD. Even with retention, Anderson’s contract is a cyanide pill here though. He’s signed through 2027 and that contract already looks rough.

Not even in the ballpark for Pierre-Luc Dubois no way would Winnipeg remotely consider that.

First off, the Jets aren't trading Dubois and if they did, it wouldn't be in a deal where the only pieces that have any value are the two firsts and a little value from an overpaid winger.

Montreal doesn't have the assets to start a conversation for Dubois.

Habs are rebuilding. This is not the time to be chasing a 60-pt C. All it took was one very vague report from Friedman on 32 Thoughts for this Dubois chatter to pick up again.

They absolutely do. This is simply your dislike of the Canadiens speaking.

Winnipeg should trade those two loons Scheifele and Wheeler if they want to fix the franchise.

Either way, hopefully he signs and all this nonsensical Dubois-to-Habs chatter dies out.

You can believe what you want, but Montreal has absolutely nothing, outside of their unprotected 1st, nothing that Winnipeg would want if moving Dubois.
