Don’t think that’s enough to get miller simply because there’s no high end young piece involved. Dvorak is okay but he’s a middle 6 forward at best and the Florida pick won’t be any higher than 25 most likely, I think Van will want quality over quantity in a Miller trade and this doesn’t give that

you think that Wright for Laf is fair? Wright is a higher prospect than Laf was at his draft year. And is a center. Nothing against Laf, but you are actually insane if you think that Laf=Wright in value. Thats seriously insane

Yea that's about the same, and the answer will be no. I think JT Miller is worth 2 first. I could see MTL give Oilers or Florida's first and Barron, even if he's worth more than a first.

They could add a 3rd if you take one of Armia or Hoffman. If you ask for more, i think they pass and wait for Barron to be NHL ready in 1 year and draft a top prospect with that first.

Also, this trade doesn't happen if MTL draft one of Wright or Cooley.

the eichel deal is a comp for miller though. the only reason eichel would get more is because of his age and cost certainty.

The pick wasnt suppose to be higher, but your point is fair. But Miller is nowhere close to Eichel's value, he's just having a very good season.

Sabres got about 3 first in value for Eichel. I think Miller is worth 2. I'd offer Guhle and 1st, but i know Vancouver need RHD prospect, so i thought they'd prefer Barron.

Basically, the offer would be Panthers or Oilers 1st + prospect of your choice (not yet in NHL).

I get your point, I think that he is probably worth a bit more than that. I more see the value of each piece and i kinda explained that in a previous post, I do get your understanding but in reality the value is probably between our two.

I could see a bidding war leading to the team adding another piece.

I'm not even sure what Vancouver would want for him. I know they need RHD prospect like i said before. What else would they be looking for? Players or picks?
