Yeah Holland was the worst in drafting in those later years.

I mean sure looking at it years later I guess. If Holland went like off the board for guys like rass or zadina I could get people being mad but that's just how it goes sometimes.

Yes the draft isn't perfect and if it was it would be really really boring. Like if stats could tell you the whole story there would be no reason to play the games.

If you spend your time looking back you will miss whats in front of you.

What's that? 6 consecutive seasons of missing the playoffs?

Holland’s days are far behind me, the least of my worries, just wanted to look into other guys we could have drafted in those spots and how the team would look with those players

I mean every team could do this. Any post 1st round pick is a toss up. If you want to be a lot more realistic, redo this with only 1st round picks within 5 choices.

To elaborate, Shestekin was a 3rd rounder. It's like saying teams should've drafted Mark Stone, Kucherov, Point, etc before they actually were. Most picks during those selections could have been one of twenty or more prospects; meanwhile, most 1st rounders are usually any one of five.

Turgeon was also a 3rd rounder
