That offer for Pierre-Luc Dubois pretty much gets blown away by every team in the league.

Two firsts and a good prospect is nothing to sneeze at for a guy thats really only had one good year, though i like PLD a lot.

2 late 1st in the high 20's possibly 32nd overall if Florida wins the cup. Yeah Barron is a awfully nice prospect but other teams can still blow away that offer.

Yeah every team would totally be willing to trade three 1st round picks...

Wow so essentially 3 late 1st round picks for a player that's averaging 54 points per season over an 82 game schedule. Like i said if PLD were made available Winnipeg can do better then this.

There's a big, big difference between "yeah, maybe another team can offer a higher pick" and "every team beats this offer".

Even if Winnipeg were to crash and burn and go to a full rebuild and move PLD, I can pretty much guarantee you that isn't the winning offer.

Again, there's a difference between what you're saying now and what you said earlier. Not every team is beating this offer, that's for sure.

Well no that was an exaggeration. Because most of the teams couldn't afford him. but 1/2 the league easily could.

So 54 point centers are worth more than 3 first round picks now?! Would you trade 3 1sts for Ryan Strome? He is a 50+ point center who is an RFA and has a weak defensive game. No you wouldn't cause 50-65 point centers aren't worth that much. PLD is great don't get me wrong but he is not Aho, Barzal or Petterson either.

Edit** My bad Dylan is the RFA, Ryan is a UFA but the point still stands.

For the record I’d rather keep Petry but family comes first so I can respect his trade request. A 2nd is a low ask and I think how he played to finish out the season proves that.

Best situation for the Jets is if they can resign him but if they can’t this is a fair offer. Would another team offer more? Possibly, but I can’t see any team « blowing away » this offer.

Really because Barron is a decent prospect he's not a world beater. Poehling is meh at best and 2 late 1st rounder for a guy that has a career 54 points per season over a 82 game schedule. Nope can't see chevy accepting that. Sure add the Montreal 1st instead to really entice him.

I saw someone retaining 2mil, I could certainly live with that
