Probably not enough for the Arizona trade but who knows with Yzerman making the trade calls. All the trades improve the Wings. I approve.

Rangers deal i would pop out Blias and ask for Kakko. I think they would approve just for the change of scenery.

Arizona is a hard one. I think Fabbri and Veleno are both good depth players for Detroit with potential. Im good giving up Lindstrom for a puck or two.

Id probably heavily pass on the seattle deal. I think the package detroit offers there would get a better defenseman than Larson. Especially from some of the cash strapped teams next year.

Georgiev is worth a 3rd more less, so Blais and Nemeth for Zadina, Smith, and Yzerman’s 3rd round LD prospect from not long ago in Viro? I’d rather roll the dice on Zadina once he gets a full regular season under his belt with regular line mates and all that.

I can’t see Larsson moving his NTC for Detroit. I think he rides it out in SEA for a few years.

I’m not sure about the AZ trade. Lindstrom is sorta like our Lindgren or Ferraro, or maybe a lesser Toews with the Islanders. Not a super flashy guy that gets a lot of credit, but solid and reliable in their own end. He’s more valuable to us than he would be to AZ. Hard to say what Schmaltz is valued at, and Crouse has value for sure for his style of play and finally cracking 20 goals. I think we’d have to give up a 2nd instead of a 3rd.

I really like the Sturm signing and that third line as a whole though.

I can guarantee the Rangers would never consider Kakko in a trade that features Zadina as the main piece.

I think you might be over valuing your boy... Zadina has 3 seasons played and averages .38 points per game (151 games & 58 points), Kakko same 3 seasons is .36 points per game (155 games, 56 points). Neither has lived up to expectations in either city... but by no means is Kakko any better and wouldnt be even considered if Zadina is the main piece. Kakko isnt getting you anything better.
If anything it looks better for Zadina who plays for a bad team and worse for Kakko who struggles on a good team. Both guys are either just going to be career bottom 6 or they need to get a fresh start.

For the first two seasons of his career, Kakko had limited minutes in the bottom six by a coach who couldn't figure out what to do with his young players and on a good veteran team. Only this year he started to get opportunity in the top 6 and he played well, but he's missed over 1/3 of the season with injuries that derailed his consistency.

The Rangers aren't giving up on a 21 year old with a high ceiling for another with a lower ceiling. Not this early.
