Insane value for Anaheim — I would have been happy with a
2 x $1,750,000

He deserves it plus helps get to the cap floor this next season

I love this signing, a very amazing physical player who I think leads the leagues in fights or is close to it. Really good signing for the ducks, a very skilled and (somewhat) physical team

Yeah, maybe Carrick could have got more. But for 30 year old who has played just 110 games in the NHL a fair deal for both sides. Good Carrick for sticking it out for so many years and now getting a two year deal. You pull for guys like that.
