Ya i dont see that making much sense from Nashvilles end.

Tomasino and jeannot will be long term top 6 forwards with jeannot being the elusive goon who can play. Their 1st round pick is also likely in the late teens so is worth a fair bit more than a 28th to 32 pick.

Nylander also only has 2 years left and was a nightmare last contract round. Thats a lot to give up for a guy to bounce in a few years.

Yep, Nylander to Nashville to makes sense. But to expect three young NHL wingers in return seems like a steep price to pay in talent and cap for the Preds.
Think the Leafs would be much better off, buying out Mrzarek for 1m X 4 and keep Kallgren .

Nylander lack of physical play just doesn’t fit Nashville’s playstyle. Sure he is the best player in the trade but he just isn’t what Poile/Hynes would be looking for especially if they’re trading out the teams leading hitter.

Add in the doubts I have with Robertson being a diminutive winger with injury issues. Nashville has been actively moving away from that kind of player (Grimaldi/Arvidsson/etc).

Tolvanen hasn’t been the goal scorer he was supposed to be but is still solid cheap young depth that can kick in offensively but is ultimately expendable.

All in all, it’s just not a deal I think Nashville would be interested in even if the price is right.

Nylander is a Hart-caliber player now apparently?

Nylander to Nashville seems to be a common fit, but this is a very high asking price. I think more realistic would be something like:
Tomasino + Trenin + 2022 1st + 2 3rds
For
Nylander + Duszak

The Jets have neither the need or cap space for Kerfoot.

He'd be a nice Copp replacement (to be clear he's not quite as good but still).

I guess it all depends on how much PLD signs for.

I would have to agree this is more of an appropriate value return.
