MTL isn't trading suzuki, PLD is on a way better team and putting up the same numbers with higher end line mates.
They definitely aren't trading their first round pick plus another 1st rounder for someone who's barley proven himself at the NHL level yet ( and I love Lafreniere)
Don't think Vegas does this but might for cap reasons only.

The Jets aren't trading Dubois and certainly wouldn't add a first to the better player to acquire an inferior one.

Suzuki inferior to PLD LOL ? Suzuki is younger than PLD putting the same number as PLD in a worst team than the Jets. I Love Cole Caufield but he's not 89 pts Kyle Connor lol.

I'm not doing Suzuki - PLD 1v1.

I thought CC was going to be a better goal scorer than Matthews? Now he's not KC at 89 points? Weird.

It's already been established it wouldn't be 1 for 1. Montreal would need to add. However, the Jets aren't moving Dubois, so you don't need to worry about it

Yeah I like PLD a lot but suzuki is actually out producing him by 1pt right now lol he's on the worst team in the NHL and has only had caufield half the time. Neither team is looking to trade their young 1C so we just keep our boy they keep their :-)

Lmao only crazy fans said that. Caufield will be a hell of a player and score a nice amount of goals in the league but he's no where near matthews is lol don't rope those stragglers with us normies haha.

Suzuki has better production on a worse team, despite playing in all situations, including killing penalties, and balanced deployment at even strength. Hardly inferior.

You may not like the wording, but however you want to term it, Dubois is the superior player. Suzuki's linemates have produced as expected this season, so he doesn'tmake the players around him better.

While Dubois helped Kyle Connor up his production to become a 45 goal scorer and even made Svechnikov look good in the top 6. So, Dubois makes the players around him better. Just like a real 1C should.

Dubois is undoubtedly the better player.

I don't think a 1v1 would be unreasonable. Dubois has size and plays with edge, while Suzuki doesn't. Sure; Dubois has better linemates, but I wouldn't suggest Suzuki is leaps and bounds ahead of Suzuki, and they are different types of players as well.
