Habs 100% take it. We can say that the 2nd is just a little more than needed to dump Hoffman, and the low first for Boeser is just perfect (for the habs at least).

If an offseason trade was offered that was great, no doubt! Otherwise, push it and make the trade at the deadline if the team doesn't improve in the win/loss column.

As a Canucks fan, I think Hoffman can provide what Brock does. Age and regression is a bit of a concern but a couple year deal is okay there. Brock hasn't been on the top PP or PK at all. Getting the two picks is great.

For the trade Miller folks, if you get a first and 2nd + good player or prospect, then you don't need to trade Boeser.

i think the value is quite alright, but the habs need to rebuild in IMO and acquiring boeser does not make sense i believe.

You dont need to include the extra Halak bonus. Its already accounted for in the numbers above the forward lineup.

I believe those are different because his 10 game bonus is 1.25m while that is 1.15m. I'm sure there will be some cap wizardry to reduce it as much as they can next year too.

I think he's young enough he'd fit. This drops off a 32 yr old for a 25 yr old.

Id rather just ship hoffman for nothing and use those picks for a RHD or LW
