The PLD trade is insulting to Jets fans. It's a total 🤡 trade. Chevy traded Laine to get him. PLD isn't "available" just because Elliotte Friedman had a thought.

No way would Chevy accept that joke of an offer for Pierre-Luc Dubois. If Chevy made him available Yzerman should be all over it and he would blow away that pathetic joke of an offer.

If Dubois were willing to sign a similar contract to Suzuki’s upon the trade going through then yes I’d say that is a reasonable summation.

I think yes, and that's why i'd give MTL 2022 1st if it's not first overall for Dubois. Getting another Suzuki, hometown boy, is too good to pass.

Let's set the record straight, I do NOT think this is fair, I think it starts with Montreals 2022 1st (guaranteed top 3 now) to start the conversation. I just think this was one guy who honestly thought this was close to fair. I only commented cause I didn't think it was fair to call him a troll when he probably wasn't trolling.

I think Dubois is very similar to Zuke right now but Zuke also has the potential to be better in the long run. Their values right now are probably really really close. I just don't know if it would be worth giving up the kinds of assets the Jets would want either.

I think Suzuki have a better hockey IQ, but Dubois is bigger and is a scorer. I think those 2 would be the perfect 1/2C for the Habs.

I'd like Winnipeg to take one of Armia or Hoffman instead of Dvorak, but then MTL might have to add something.

I wouldnt touch Dubois. 100 pims and hes not better than Suzuki. Dubois isnt good enough to be the 1C and id rather have someone better than Suzuki as 1C
