Some good thoughts. Can't see Vegas wanting to trade a cost efficient Whitecloud though. Not saying the Kings trade isn't fair value. But from the Kings view....they might be better off signing UFA Perron for 5.5m, and keeping their three picks. One reason why trade mid to high cap players and expecting just cap in return can be difficult. The "trade" completion is UFAs

Vegas may need to try and move all the cap they can possible so Whitecloud may be an option to move

and the thing with the kings yes Perron might be better but the kings may only be a year away from competing. Tk is younger and would be better to have long term where Perron is a short term option
