Jets would do it but the cap wouldn't work out with kerfoot too take him out and replace him with a prospect also no 2023 first

Why wouldn’t they? They’re getting the (quite) better forward as well as a middle 6 forward. The only thing they’re paying for the major upgrade in star talent and the middle 6 forward is a 1st, 2nd, 6th d man and whatever Svech is valued at. No way Leafs would do it

No one would want to get stuck with Marner's contract. Dollar for dollar, Ehlers is the better player.

you are delusional. Marner is a top 5 winger in the league and Ehlers doesn't even sniff the top 10

No trade is acceptable for Winnipeg players in that dudes opinion. Could've offered Matthews + Marner and he'd find a way to argue it doesn't make sense for the Jets.
