Koepke on standby in my book. The guy has been my #1 Star of the Crunch's first round so far

Calder Cup means nothing. Sit him in the press box. :-P

Nah, private jet on standby to get him to Tampa in ~2.5 hours on moments notice

My geography sucks.... Is it the same airport for Tampa and Sunrise? Does the team go home after each game?

4/8 on my bracket so far. If Calgary and New York with I'm good.
But I had Minnesota going far so I'm pretty much toast :-P

No, Tampa and Miami (maybe they fly into Ft. Lauderdale?) have their own airports. I'd imagine they just stay down there

Well peeps, here it is.
I've talked it up all night and this is how we keep Paul and complete the 5peat.
Prepare to be disappointed.

Greater playoff performance in Lightning history?

Tyler Johnson (Detroit series 2015)
or
Nick Paul (Game 7 vs. Toronto 2022)

Johnson was not just the Detroit series. If he doesnt break his wrist they win that cup. So I'll say Johnson.

I was trying to recall the exact game TJ brought us back from the brink. I think it was Game 5?

Game 4? Bolts were down 2-0 going into the third. He scored the first and then the OT winner.

Detroit won game 5 Tampa won 6 and 7 to win the series.

Slightly off topic but... Who's gonna have the better individual career. Cirelli or Johnson? Cups aside.

At this point in his career Johnson already had a 29 goal season and 50 points. Playing on arguable worse Tampa teams. But Cirelli is a beast defensively.

Johnson would probably make the all time Bolts team, by the end of his career does Cirelli bump him off the roster?

I like Cirelli, to me Johnson only had a few good seasons. Cirelli will be consistent for his entire career, especially defensively.

Cirelli is going to have the longest career of any forward on the team right now.
Johnson will forever be #1 in my heart though.

Longer than Point/Kuch? Seems like a red-hot take.

Do you think we have a chance to win this series without Pointer? I'm kinda sceptical about that.

Good plan for next 2 years. Only problem is we don't get to keep Paul. MIght have left the value a bit low on Sergachev.

Year 1

Year 2

It's possible. Our center depth is in a pretty good position, and honestly speaking, Point hasn't been great outside of the game 6 ot goal. He's day-to-day after Game 1 so it's going to be wait and see.

I thought LA fans were marking Kaliyev as one of their protected players? I still think I'd rather hold onto Sergachev for next season.

Yeah most likely we keep him, but I don't really see his value going up a ton and I could see it going down with a poor season or him wanting a big extension.

Assuming Point doesn't play tomorrow, who takes his place? Probably Nash, maybe Rutta tho? No one else has been called up so it would have to be one of those two

Depends on Kuch imo. He's not 100%. if they think he can be effective for 20+mins the might got 11/7. I'm worried about him, id be inclined to give ABB a crack, familiar with the system, has been putting the puck away. Might be a force with Colton and Bagel assuming Paul slots at 2C. Cirelli up with Kuch to cover any lapses.

I'd try to separate Stammer and Kuch...

18-91-79
38-20-86
17-71-10
14-41

And no Maroon on PP please.
