Hot-ish take.

One of Colorado, Calgary or Florida is losing in round one. If the caps have Ovi, Florida is my prediction.

Also, no sweeps.

Not even a hot take. Top teams often end up blundering in the playoffs and underdogs often post upsets. I wonder who this years Montreal Canadiens is

It absolutely shouldn’t be a hot take but year in and year out nobody predicts it in their brackets, so I called it hot-ish.

IIHF seriously snuck in Vancouver’s Elias Pettersson in the 2022 U-18 graphic

(Middle left, #14. They put in the wrong Elias Pettersson)

Edit: they put the same Vancouver Elias Pettersson TWICE. The middle guy and the guy on the right of him. Who’s in charge of making these graphics 😂

Edit #2: There are two #5 players on the left. Seriously who made these lmao

I would have said sweep if the Kings and Oilers were playing anyone except each other tbh

I don’t see what is wrong about wanting to be on a contending team when you’re in your prime

Not really sure there's a better team/opportunity for him in Winnipeg. They aren't going to be rebuilding. He's a proven homer so I don't expect anything different from him.

According to Jets fans, Schiefele would get 2022 first, 2023 first, Guenther, Chychurn, and Keller in return

He basically threw his team under the bus and walked away

Im not the problem everyone else is, I am becoming to good nobody can keep up, either teams gets better or Im gonna bail on them

Truth be told he is one of the problems if not the biggest problem

0 commitment to defense, is a non factor in his own end other than making dangerous hits, and is a little crybaby when things dont go his way.

And he says hes improving.... LUL no

I don't know why oilers fans and media are saying oilers should resign koskinen, and that they're fine with him, because guess what?
He's having another good year in a contract year.
Only seasons when he was above .900 sv% was this year and the year prior to when he got his 4.5mil contract.
It's all a fake, but Holland won't realize that.

Some could argue a good #4.
That year when he was playing with petry and prior to when he got his 1.85m contract, he played amazing.
I love Kuly.
On a good team can get 30 points.
Best suited to play with an offensively minded dman, because when he's focused on defense, he isn't focused on offense, which doesn't put pressure on him to score.
It's a win-win

If Koskinen comes back unless Smith retires a problem arises

Skinner is not waiver exempt next season per Cap Friendly (says hes got to be waived 2022-2023)

Could be wrong but if they bring Koskinen back and still got Smith then Holland gonna have to waive Skinner and knowing the NHL someone gonna claim him

Either Edmonton will role with Smith/Skinner or hope Smith retires and sign a UFA goalie and use Skinner as the backup

I saw multiple articles and tweets about how oilers should bring koskinen back
