Don't think this is enough for playoffs.
While the pacific may be the weakest division I expect the Kings, Canucks and Kraken to improve further, nevermind catching the Oilers and the Flames.

Forward group looks improved and overall decent but I'd have serious doubts about that 3rd pair and defensive depth in general.
On paper that goaltending looks rather mediocre as well.

From SJ perspective I wouldn't do that Nashville trade, Dahlén is worth way more than to just throw him away for a 3rd.
Also, you might get a taker if retaining 3m on Burns but it aint gonna be the Wild, I think they are the weakest fit for Burns throughout the entire league.
There's no way Guerin's gonna be able to afford a 3 year 5m cap hit on a 37 year old RD, not gonna happen.

Jesus no. Jets hold onto that 23’ 1st as it realistically may be a lotto pick and the rest of the trade does absolutely nothing for the Jets right now.

I could see a Scheif to SJS trade based on their plan... They must have told Hertl that they are going to try to retool as quickly as possible.

Need way more than that for Nylander. 2024 pick is too far away. I like Gregor but he isn't anything more than a bottom 6 and Reimer never waive to come back here.

Take away the two 1st in the Scheifele trade and add Dahlén instead of Bonino.

Tor wouldn’t accept that Nylander trade unless they get a high end prospect much better than Gregor.

I can't see the Jets adding a 1st round pick to Scheifele, certainly not for that return anyway, their 2023 1st should be untouchable at this point.

The Wild's cap situation doesn't allow them to take on a $5m cap hit defenseman during the worst years of the Parise/Suter buyouts. Easy no.

It's so strange to see this Burns trade. It's a small price to pay with such a large deduction. Burns is real terminator at 37. I don't like idea of trading Scheifele, because we really need a big scoring winger. Priority on a small contract as Brandon Coe can take this role later.
