Description

Arvidsson is expected to return to the lineup, these lines are adjusted for this and based on their practice lines yesterday. It does look like Lemieux is the next guy up in the event of an injury, though Vilardi made an argument for himself in the final two games of the season.

Is Doughty supposed to be back for the playoffs? That will hurt this team not having his experience on the back end… Good luck today LA! I’m hoping for an awesome series. I think this is where you will see veterans like Quick, Edler, Brown, Kopitar, Doughty (if he comes back), Danault, Smith, Keith, Hyman, Kane, Kulak, Kassian do very well, and I hope the younger guys do well too! I’m hoping for a McDavid, Draisaitl vs Kopitar, Danault stand off! Again, good luck, and I hope it’s a great series!

I think if quick plays bad = oilers in 4
If quick plays average = oilers in 5
If quick plays good = oilers in 6
If quick plays great = kings in 7

Hey! Thanks, good luck to you as well. We are just pumped to be back, but I think the Kings will put up a bigger fight than the odds are currently saying.

Doughty had wrist surgery in April, the word was he would be shut down for the season, it is unlikely he will play at all this post-season.

That seems in line with what Vegas thinks, but I think a big factor we aren't hearing about is if Darnell Nurse 100% to play in game 1 and how effective Kopitar/Danault are at shutting down McDavid and Drai.

Both teams are good, both have good veterans, both kind of underdogs in the playoffs. A lot of the weight could be put on Quick, and Smith as they are good veterans, but who knows. I guess we will see. Anyways, I’m excited!

I saw your comment on Nurse, and all I’ve heard is he has practiced with the team yesterday, but he is a game time decision. If he isn’t back for game 1, he probably will be back for game 2. I think both teams will be great! People just look at the teams that were top of the standings.. playoffs are always great no matter what.

This series comes down to two major factors.

1. Can LA shut down McDavid and Draisaitl at 5v5?
2. Can the Kings stay out of the penalty box?

If those two things happen, then I think LA wins this series.
