IMO, I'd do that were I CBJ, but I also know I am higher on Miller than most CBJ fans are on this board.

Also depends on the extension Miller comes with - do you know what figures have been thrown around that he is looking at?

Would JT be a difference maker for CBJ next season? Might be better off holding onto your prospects and taking a chance at JT in free agency the following offseason.

Depends on his ability to be a 1C. If he can slot in there and play at a high level between Laine and Jake/Bjorky/KJ/ whoever, I think so.

I think it takes us into the WC discussion at least. D is still a problem though.

He really going to hit UFA though? I figured he'd be traded and locked up before then.

miller will probably work well as their 1C, you could slot him anywhere in the line and will still average around a ppg

Tough to say with pending UFAs. Some guys like to take the opportunity to see what's out there and maximize their potentially one attempt to get their big career pay day. Others are content with their current team and don't want to go anywhere.

Unless JT makes them extremely competitive (Metro is no slouch of a division) for the one guaranteed season he's there, I personally think CBJ should onto their younger assets and build a good foundation.

Not a spring chicken, we already have had problems with goalie injuries. That's a tough one

I like JT but giving up both Tex and Boqvist is steep. I rather swap Tex with Foudy/Bemstrom, then I'd be more comfortable with the trade.

VAN would much rather keep Schenn, they value him very highly.

You’re not wrong. I just don’t think you can swap out Tex alone. You could replace him with a Foudy or Bemstrom, but then probably have to add.
