I know it's for fun, but I can't see any team bring interested in swapping 1sts with Wheeler involved.

Why would the Jets move Scheifele for a cap dump and Mailloux without compensation?

I can't imagine the Devils consider this, knowing that they make most of their decisions guided by analytics.

That AAV seems low for Dubois. I'd be shocked if he signed for under 8.5.

The Devils politely thank you for your time, then hang up and make fun of you.

"a known locker-room cancer" I don't know where you are from, but I am from Winnipeg and I have never heard this before. Please tell me your source where a player or coach actually speaks out about him. I don't think I have ever heard a bad word spoken about him other than on here. What I hear when he talks is he wants to win and that is exactly the type of player i want on my team. One who also acknowledges his fault and vows to get better.

You seem to hate MTL as much as MTL fans hate Scheifele.

A lot closer than the crap posted in the OP
Hab fans think everyone wants to take their garbage in return for talent.
As for Scheifele, he’s a multi-year, offensive, 70+ point 1C, with 2 years left on a great contract… if you think you’re getting him for less than what I proposed, your dreaming.

I can assure you that the vast majority of Habs fans don't want Scheifele at all, a veteran all offense/zero defence center that's acheived nothing for a rebuilding team is a stupid idea.

But thinking his trade value is something like Barron + Caulfeld + ‘23 1st is legitimately crazy even among some of the crazy takes on here.

Isn't that what Stastny said in press conference yesterday? Something about some players thinking about themselves?

Eichel got a top prospect, 2nd line young player, 1st and 2nd round picks.

Scheifele is definitly worth less than Eichel.

Sorry, my misunderstanding, I didn't hear him say Scheifele's name but i if he did, then yes you are correct and he is a cancer. If he didn't, then it would just be ridiculous to speculate.

He didn't mention his name, but almost every Jets fan want to trade Scheifele since then, so i would assume it's him.

But i'm not a Jets fan, so i wouldn't know. Who do you think he was talking about? Probably not about some depth players.

That is actually a lie, not even a little bit, just a flat out lie. It was Wheeler he had the issue with, that was well known and documented. In fact, in his return to Winnipeg this year he said that he missing Winnipeg but still keeps in contact with his good friends and then he named Ehlers, Conner and Scheifele. It was right on the broadcast. If their was any truth to that, he could of very easily left Scheifele out without doing any harm.

It was the entire locker room. And lets forget the way he acted for the Evans hit. Thought he was innocent the whole time. Sore loser and garbage human
