btw, Demelo has value.

Also, JT Miller is coming off an absolute high. No use getting him, cuz it'll cost more than that.

That's a no from the Jets. Retaining for 2 years for a 3rd round pick? Also the cap is projected at $82.5.

Odd timing for a Clifford trade. Pretty sure he is on a two way deal for the next two seasons.

I imagine VAN says no.

LAK don't have interest in Muzzin, and he has a NTC.

I don't know who Korenar is, but I'm alright with this deal.

Muzzin isn't worth his contract (though he was last night)......so NTC 5.6m remains a Leafs
Arizona says no to Mrzarek. Jets say no. CBJ probably says no. Kinda funny that you expect DeMelo to be a Leaf at 1.75m for a 3rd pick, but 2m Holl gets traded for 3rd pick .
Why do the Leafs want Korpisalo.?

You’re not getting a 99 point player for a 3C and Niemala

Gonna have to offer a hell of a lot more than that if you want Miller

I think people forget that AZ is a budget team. They'll take on the Hossa's, Ghost's, Little's, Ladd's of the world because Hossa's salary was $500k vs the cap hit being $5M...or...Ghost's salary is $3.25M vs his cap hit of $4.5M (and he can still produce 51 points in 82 games) or insurance ends up paying a lot of the salary like Little etc...

Mrazek is the opposite. His salary next year is $4.2M and then $4.4M. If there was any indication that Mrazek's career might be over....they'd more likely consider because Insurance might chip it, but that's not the case that I've heard and if it was the case...TOR would likely just keep him because they don't really have many performance bonuses to hand out. AZ will likely ask for more than other teams would be willing to settle for because they don't make a lot of money and we know they're not getting revenue from ticket sales next year in that tiny arena.

The buyout is likely the end result.

Lol. The Jets are retaining on DeMelo and moving him for deadweight.

VAN rejects rather quickly. I think a 1st round pick (or similar value) would need to be added, especially if VAN is retaining.

No interest in installing Jake Muzzin 2.0, inasmuch as we could probably re-sign Alex Edler to a much lower contract and achieve the same results without having to spend assets to acquire Muzzin, never mind his NTC.

Add Liljegren and 2 1sts to that deal and the Canucks start to consider, might still not be enough
