I think you did pretty well. Not quite enough there for the Leafs but I like the idea. Every team should want to acquire Murphy. I don't know why but I've always liked him and I'd think he could theoretically work well as the 2RD on the Ducks the next few seasons but the Hawks probably want too much.

the fact the nhl just allowed the coyotes to move to a 5000 seat arena is downright embarrassing for the league. no brainer statement but it's aggravating because it by extension makes the rest of the league look bad.

i think bettman has had on this long to arizona remaining in phoenix is because it's because a personal project and he desperate wants to see succeed. granted, circumstances haven't allowed the team to really prosper but the nhl had cut their losses in atlanta and a number of canadian markets much quicker. bettman really does not want to admit failure and a relocation would amount to that.
