To sum up press conference

1. Gio is open to returning for less

2. Spezza wants to come back

3. Dubas will look at all positions on this team and should he make a move it wont be a lateral one

4. Campbell wants to come back and win here

5. Hinting at a Matthews extension potentially coming based on the president's comments and his own comments with the GM.

6. Potential for Holmberg, Abruzzese, Anderson, and maybe Ho-Sang to be in the lineup
7. And nobody from upper management is getting fired (should fire the goalie coach im just saying)


To me I would love to see the following

1. Create a 4th line that will grind opponents down and contribute every once in a while

Something like (Sturm-Lazar-Acciari) where Spezza/Simmonds can rotate every once in a while or in back to backs

2. Find another Bunting or Verhaeghe type (Rumors are buyout and Non-Qualify offers will be higher than last seasons and there were some good options like Heinen, Donato, etc.)

3. Find a nice little playmaker for JT allowing Nylander to be on the third line

4. Bring back Spezza and Giordano (if the price is right)

Maybe Tatar at 2.25m could work, unless you're looking for something a bit more flashier.
He's not the tallest guy around so should fit the profile
