Galchenyuk isn't done. He had a bad season. Lets not forget this guy scored 30 last season. He's big and skilled, no need to ship him out of town. He'll be a quality 2nd line center.

Shipachev has since signed with Vegas. I thought he'd have been interesting to consider for MTL. Maybe Bergevin didn't want to pay the price (2yrs/4.5M$ AAV). I kinda thought the price was reasonable myself.

Beaulieu's value is so low right now he'd need to be in a sweet package to get a center. I'm not against trading him, but don't expect to get much back. If we get a 2nd or 3rd round pick, i'd be happy.

I'm all on board give LV a 2nd rounder to assure Plekanec is taken in the expansion draft. 6M$ off the cap in a heartbeat is a good thing.
