And they shouldn't sell low after a career year, they should try and get as much as they can if they want to move him. I don't think teams come to the table with an offer that matches what his did production wise this year. Similar to how no one gave NYR a big trade offer for Strome when he was an RFA and had his first big year thanks to being strapped to Panarin.

Oh i agree with that nobodys gonna wanna pay for this seasons production but nyi is only gonna sell for this seasons production. Therefore there isnt gonna be a nelson trade. Just this conversation is going on the premise of a nelson trade so we're kinda stuck.
