There is most likely less than zero chance the Jets retain on Scheifele and that they do so for an offer that doesn't fill a single need for them.

The Jets are not retaining on one of the best contracts in the entire league, and the only player position that the Jets don't need any help in is LD

I'd offer sheet him. 5 x $8,2M. Costs OTT 2023 1st+2nd+3rd. With the amount of prospects they got that's a sustainable loss.

I wouldn't mind seeing an OS like that being made to Fiala. GMBG takes the picks and run, saves face with the fanbase because they have someone/thing else to blame for losing Fiala.

MIN overpays for Scheifele + it doesn't match Jets needs at all. Nice effort though
