Description
Cowardly performance from the Bruins.

The refs were awful but that’s no excuse .This team is not built for the playoffs just getting bullied up and down the ice. When someone gets taken out of a series like Lindholm just did and there’s no answer it’s just gutless.
Mcavoy and Marchand are your super stars who are not supposed to be the ones to keep the other team in check and there’s no one to protect guys like Bergy, hall and Pasta. This series has quickly gotten out of hand. Carolina is not even that tough and physical of a team they are just running all over the Bruins because no one will stop them. Not surprised a soft player in his days like Sweeney would build a soft team. It’s one thing to get beaten because Carolina is a better team which they clearly are but it’s another to just get ran through like they just did.

Yeah yeah I get it’s only game 2 but this it’s tough to watch a pathetic performance like this.

The team was terrible tonight, but so is reactionary stuff like this.

If you want to be truly reactionary to this game, let bergeron walk and trade marchand. They were the culprits. Nosek was good. Grzelcyk wasn’t a major issue. If you’re going to be unnecessarily reactionary, go all the way.

Marchand is invisible Bergy has been fine the overall team has been terrible. How has no one gone after Svechnikov after taking out your second best defenseman who just came to the team he’ll be in concussion protocol rest of this series. I don’t think it was dirty but someone has to hold him accountable for an injury like that and no one has it’s pathetic. Just getting bullied.

Bruins won’t. Sweeney wound rather sign someone who is invisible and has no impact on the game.

I’ve wanted Dillon on the Bruins sing he was a free agent. Made multiple Armchair teams with trades for him this isn’t something new.

Bergeron was horrible tonight. Don’t let a deflection and a rebound fool you. He was really bad. This was probably his worst game as a pro.

Did you not see a whole bunch of guys go after svechnikov right after that very clean hit? Hold him accountable? For playing hockey? What are you talking about? If you don’t remember a bunch of guys going after him right after the play, check the scoresheet. The penalties are there.

Nah. Jets fans go crazy and say, (almost always with the word literally) how they don’t need anything except a top pair d man that they expect in trade for some reason.

Oddly enough, giving up good players to add bad players doesn't seem to work and make a team better for some reason. It's really strange.

Ya and what happened? They exchanged words? I don’t know what to say if you don’t think that they are getting bullied and letting the Canes walk all over them physically. As cliche as it sounds you need guys who can play playoff hockey, as much as everyone talks about the new age of skilled hockey every team who has one the cup in the past decade has had a team full of bottom 6 forwards and Dmen who are physical and don’t let the other team abuse them like the bruins just let happen.

Out of curiosity, who are you referring to? Of the guys he signed this off-season theres:
Taylor hall, who was unquestionable the bruins best forward tonight.
Haula, who has been kind of awesome….not his best tonight though.
Nosek, who was great tonight, and has been humming along for a while now.
Forbort - I’m not a fan but he plays his role.
Reilly - didn’t dress. No arguments there.

I mean, he baaaarely touched him. I still don’t really know what he was doing that close to the crease when he lost his balance. I’m still really confused as to how that hurt raanta.

Refs had a couple confusing calls out of scrums where bruins got the extra that had me scratching my head, but the bruins were brutal tonight. It would have been a miscarriage of justice if they had come close to winning that game.

When did i says they weren’t getting bullied and blah blah blah?

You just said no one went after svechnikov - they did…and that he needed to be held accountable for a really clean hit - he doesn’t.

I mean the shot to the head will do it. But barely touched him. Sure.

Talking about Nosek, Forbort, Foligno and Reilly who take up a decent amount of cap that could be used for guys who bring something to the team that the bruins don’t have.
Nosek is good a face offs and then I am at a loss to find something else. And Foligno who you conveniently left out has been a disaster.

Thats a pretty low threshold for a, “shot to the head.” Looked like he lost his balance and kind of flailed. I’m still mystified how that hurt a professional athlete.

You might want to take a look at my comments regarding that hit in this thread. I clearly agree
