Alternatives for RHD if there are no other quality options

Created by: Angusc
Team: 2022-23 Vancouver Canucks
Initial Creation Date: May 3, 2022
Published: May 5, 2022
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Considering there may be lots of quality RHD that are untouchable from many teams, these can be options for RHD I've seen from lots of threads. They include Severson, Marino, Carlo, Durzi, Liljegren, Boqvist, Whitecloud Schneider, or any other RHD prospect.
Trades
1.
VAN
  1. Ceci, Cody
Additional Details:
Putting it in here. he may not be an ideal candidate. But included him considering his age, cheaper salary with term. and whether or not their prospects will replace him.
EDM
Maybe a 3rd rounder like the Seattle trade proposal.
    2.
    VAN
    1. Bryson, Jacob [RFA Rights]
    Additional Details:
Either Bryson, Casey Fitzgerald, or Henri Jokiharju. Younger and Jokiharku has term.
    BUF
A 3rd or 4th round pick. Maybe add another one
      3.
      VAN
      1. Kulikov, Dmitry
      2. 2023 4th round pick (MIN)
      Additional Details:

      MIN
      1. 2023 4th round pick (NYR)
      Additional Details:
      Pick depends on value
      4.
      VAN
      1. Mete, Victor [RFA Rights]
      Additional Details:
If I remember correctly, Senators are not going to resign him next season. so we get him in exchange for a pick. He is younger and may be cheaper if we sign him.

        Mid round pick
        5.

And Joker would cost a bit more than a 3rd or 4th.

Kulikov is a LD, he's just proficient at playing his offside.

Ceci won't be available, and that offer gets laughed at. You aren't getting Edmonton's 1RD on a great contract for a 3rd round pick!

OT question but are Oilers fans happy with Ceci in general?

I defended him when he was in Ottawa because he was the whipping boy

He was really not used properly, put in a really bad spot, used as a top shutdown D-man in the whole league which was ridiculous

He and Nurse get hard-matched against the opposition's best every night, and they still finished the regular season with a 53.19 GF% and a 54.16 xGF%, not to mention a 61.54 HDCF%.

Yes, Oilers fans are happy with Ceci in general. He's far outplaying his contract.

Pretty good news, I know he has been doing better since leaving Ottawa/Toronto where he was put in such a bad spot.

Happy for him. He doesn't have the best hockey IQ but he's a good hockey player.

He was excellent in Pittsburgh last season too
