1. Take out the 1st round pick in the Canucks trade and it's a fair deal, Ellis is damaged goods right now

2. That deal is horrible for Toronto

3. LA's not accepting that

4. I honestly don't think anyone wants to touch that Couturier contract

5. That's a fleecing by Ottawa

6. Hmm, not sure Mario Ferraro is worth moving up four spots for San Jose in that range

I know many SENS fans will disagree but Ottawa should take that deal.

No, we're not trading Quinton Byfield.

I'd rather have Myers over Ellis at this point

No reason for the Flyers to trade Farabee. That trade doesn't work for either team

Sens fans should be all over that

- Moving from 7th to 4th OA

- Getting rid of Zaitsev salary (saving 9 M$) : with Zub, hamonic, Thomson, JBD don't need him anymore (Holden can play RD too)

- I know Brannstrom is better and has more value than many think but we can afford to move him MAINLY because they are stubborn of not wanting him on RD and with Chabot, Sanderson, Holden (then Kleven), forget the LD for ice-time lol

This is also not horrible for the Flyers but I think they should get a 2nd here. Yes they lower their first a little but get a 22 y/o PPQB. Zaitsev would be a stop gap while they rebuild. A tank commander actually.

Sharks would love to move up the draft board, but not by giving up Ferraro. If there are alternate prospects or packages we'd consider it, but Ferraro has become key for our defense and I don't see us trading his rights anytime soon.
