There is probably a zero percent chance the Jets retain on Hellebuyck and take that much bad cap back in return.

The Jets, already projected to be a cap team, are not going to take on $7 million in goalies then retain another $3 million on top of that.

Also, it's been reported that Hellebuyck is happy in Winnipeg and wants to stay so I'd put the chances of him being traded at zero

Further to this, the report on Hellebuyck’s future was Elliotte Friedman (May 2nd, Kenny & Renny Show): “I’ve heard as long as the plan is to contend that Hellebuyck is ok.”
