Flyers deal a 4th to PHX to retain half, all of a sudden JVR is worth a 2nd and prospect. Dude isn’t bad, just overpaid.

Buffalo isn’t going to make the playoffs, so moving picks for players isn’t exactly on their to do list. Several playoff teams can get these guys, and if you’re creative with the moves you can maximize the return. Fletcher is not creative though

The Sabres don't want or need jvr, he won't be coming here. Unfortunately, you are looking for teams that are both A) playoff teams and B) have tons of cap space to waste on a veteran winger. It doesn't seem real likely, but 30 No's and 1 yes is still a yes. Maybe somebody takes a shot, or somebody holds 3.5 million. I would think 3.5 million is worth a 2nd but maybe a 3rd gets it done.
