Tampa can certainly get a better offer for Sergachev than that

It’s more like “Pull the trigger you wuss, you won’t. I’m still not doing that.” Buffalo is much better off keeping these assets.

Sure, but that's simply because they have no use for a top 4 LD

Bro, they should crawl backwards from Milan to Minsk to make this deal.

Sergachev can play the right if necessary.

Samuelsson is our #1LHD and is on his ELC

Asplund is one of the best defensive forwards in the NHL and he makes less than 850K.

Olofsson is a top 6 winger who has grown into a good 5x5 producer without an elite center and he has 2 RFA years left.

Sergachev is 1 year from wanting huge money and we already have dahlin and power.

Just because he's the #LHD on the Sabres doesn't mean he's good lma also Asplund is definitely not one of the best defensive forwards. Theres at least 30 players better defensively.

Fine neither team does it, Because that sure as heck doesn't get Sergachev.

A 22-year-old with 52 games is your top left defenseman.
Asplund is a fourth liner for Tampa Bay.
Who is Victor olafson kicking out of the top six in Tampa Bay nobody.
There is clear reasoning above why the Buffalo sabers have spent more than a decade outside the playoffs

Samuelsson was the 32nd overall pick of the 2018 draft who went to college and would have many more games if not for injury. He is dahlins partner.

Asplund is the very type of player you've been trading 1st round picks for.

Olofsson is a top 6 player.

Sergachev is nice, but he is 1 year from wanting huge money and we already have dahlin and power.

I explained why Buffalo wouldn't do it. Doesn't mean sergachev doesn't have value, it just isn't worth it for us

why wouldn't you just give those picks to LA for Robin Lehner

or why wouldn't you keep Robin Lehner, since the contract term he has left fits more in line with Portillo & Levi's development trajectory?
