I was about to say these can't be the lines they are running, No Sogard, Lodin & didn't ADAM GAUDETTE get sent down?
And there is no way in hell that Thompson and Kelley should be on 4th line and 3rd pairing. They need minutes.

Søgaard and Lodin are on IR I believe, and I don't know Guennette's injury status, but I believe he is a healthy scratch, and rightly so. Solid player but a clear 4th behind Lassi, JBD and Williams.

Lodin was just playing with the big club, did he get hurt in that game or in one of the previous AHL playoff games.

I would also prefer Guennette playing over Williams as Guenette needs the playing time and could end up being a good bottom 2 defensemen.

Ouch that does suck if they are all out. hopefully we get a boost from Greig and also see Boucher soon as well.

Don't get caught up too much on 3rd pair and 4th line. Lassi will still get his minutes, especially PP minutes. But the Leslie-Williams pair is hugely important part of Belleville's success too, and the Heater Bernard-Docker duo is a very important shutdown duo.

As for Kelly, he's obviously still an important part of the team, but he's the obvious choice to bump to the 4th line to get Greig's skill in the top 9. He shifts down to the 4th line where Matty Wedman was last game. The team is so much stronger this way. Love Kelly but every winger above him is a better AHL scoring threat (admittedly Greig is an unknown commodity in the AHL, but still a no brainer).

Idk when he was injured but he didn't play game 1, and don't think he's expected for dame two.

Also not to sound rude but Guennette over Williams is a very 'I don't follow Belleville' take. They are trying to win, they're gonna play their best guys. Not a slight on Guennette, just a fact. Guennette will be fine, but he's where he's meant to be.

That's fair, I don't follow Belleville much but I really liked the prospect updates on NHL.com Senators by Finley's and Belleville was always mentioned. Also, who are they playing and did they win game one?

They're in a best of 3 play in vs the Rochester Americans. They were up 3-0, but unfortunately they ended up letting the Amerks back in and lost 4-3 in OT. Still the better team, and will now actually get the benefit of home ice. They were the higher seed, but they went to Rochester for game 1 to save on travel in the event of a game 3. Tonight's a must win, but they get to stay at home when they win which helps.
