Yeah, that's where I'm at. It's a kind of a *lazy* (I don't mean that as a personal slight to anyone who does it...) attempt to magically disappear cap that they (in most cases personally) don't really want anymore. In fairness-every fan base who are up to the cap on here do the same thing, so it's not team or player-specific, but yeah, it's funny. Fact is so many teams are cap strapped....especially now with RFASs getting close to UFA, there are lots of sellers of cap and few buyers. I think we are going to be in a situation where teams aren't going to get very good value for some big cap players who they might have to dump (Nylander for instance)
