No interest in Gibson. He's highly overrated - he simply hasn't been very good the past 4-5 years.

I mean... I agree with the sentiment of what you're saying, but like... it's 3 season. Not 4-5.

Since January 2019. 3.5 seasons.
Here's a look at the past 4 years for Gibson. There's an interesting pattern here where he comes out of the gate on fire, then drops off to average or below for the remainder of the season. It's disconcerting, to say the least, for any playoff team looking for goaltending as a playoff team wants a goalie who is strong down the stretch and into the playoffs. Here are the numbers:
2018-19
First 12 games: .935
Remaining 46: .911
2019-20
First 12 games: .926
Remaining 39: .897
2020-21
First 12 games: .923
Remaining 23: .894
2021-22
First 12 games: .924
Remaining 44: .898
The last time he was among the top goalies in the league was 2017-18, when he posted a .926 over 60 games. The trouble with giving him full credit for that is the fact that Anaheim's other 2 goalies posted better results: Ryan Miller posted .928 in 28 games and Reto Berra (who?) posted .926 in 5 games - and both goalies had a lower GAA than Gibson.
I honestly don't think you can blame the team for Gibson's dismal play over a significant period of time. Stolarz and Dostal both posted better GAA and SV% numbers than Gibson this season, FWIW.
Based on reputation, Gibson has a lot of value. But based on actual results, he's a cap dump. I'm not in favor of spending multiple high-end assets and dedicating $6.4M in cap space for 5 more years to finding out which is right, reputation or math. There's simply too much risk and too little upside.
