I think Weber is more likely to go to Arizona. He would be on IR just like Little. His contract count for 7.8M on the cap, but he's only paid 3M next year, and 1M for the next 3 years.

I don't see that happening, cause what if the rules change and the league forces Weber's status to change to retired, then Arizona has to deal with having a recapture penalty on their books, probably in addition to Montreal and Nashville

Not if those players can't stay healthy, Arizona will just take them to keep themselves above the cap floor. Even future considerations might suffice

LMFAO, you clearly haven't been paying any attention to the Canucks, you just blindly assume every asset they have has negative value

You obviously dont understand cap recapture if you think it would be a issue for Arizona

Okay, explain, cause Florida got penalized for Luongo's recapture as well as the Canucks, mind you it was at a lower cap hit

Cap recapture is when you pay out MORE in actual dollars vs a players cap hit. Montreal passed the threshold where the salary vs cap hit equaled back out already so there is no recapture. Arizona would bever pay out more than his cap hit so no recapture.
