I'd consider that DeMelo trade if the Jets make another move for a dman but I'd want a pick with Pearson, probably some kind of pick swap would be best.

Idk if the Flames do that, maybe.

Can't see Myers going back to Buffalo.

Miller could have gotten that package at the deadline, but I doubt that kind of package comes around again. Vancouver should have sold when his value was the highest it’s ever been.

I dont think that is necessarily the case. I think that is still an overpay but it is unlikely Philly were ever going to offer a top 5 pick and Konecny. In the offseason more teams have the flexibility to get Miller so hopefully GMJR and Allvin can start a bidding war

I’m not entirely sure that there will be a bidding war for Miller, at least not the one that Canucks fans are wanting. Miller might be a consistent 60-70 pts guy for the next 4-5 years on a good team. I can’t see him having the year he had this year again. I don’t think there will be much of a bidding war from teams that are contenders, but teams that are looking to contend but don’t have that last piece. Teams like Detroit, NJ, Ottawa, Buffalo, Anaheim, and even teams like Dallas and Nashville would be more likely to go for Miller. Most of the contending teams can’t afford Miller or won’t give him the contract that he wants. Teams like Carolina, Tampa, NYR, Toronto, Vegas, Colorado, Calgary, and Minnesota and St. Louis really can’t afford Miller. Someone will make the mistake to overpay for Miller, but I think it will be a team that nobody expects to acquire him.

Wait what... Since he came to Vancouver, he has a 202 game sample size where he scored 217 points... an 88 point pace per season. Can you please explain why you believe he will perform 15-30 points lower than the last 3 seasons.

No chance the Flyers take that. The team needs youth and aren’t trading a most likely top 5 pick, a talented young player, and a prospectish guy who may be something for one year of JT Miller

Unlikely Winnipeg moves one of their two RD for players that don't really fill any needs.
