Hahaha I love it. Bridge 'em all!

Only thing I don't like is getting an asset from Seattle back for Barrie. Seattle isn't a contender, and that 2nd round pick will most likely be in the early-to-mid 30s which is still a quality selection. Doesn't make sense IMO

EDIT: Not to mention I have doubts that any team is willingly going to give a 2nd for Barrie

I'm not sure why everyone values Puljujarvi more than Yamamoto. Yamo had better stats in basically every category and has never had a tantrum where he spent an entire season across the pond.
Am I missing something?

It is puljujarvi's underlying statistics he is the best forechecker in the game and big. There is the thought he is a late bloomer and has a lot of potential yet. If puljujarvi ever gets coordinated and starts capitalizing he will be a hell of a player. Yamamoto is at his potential.

I wouldn't say Yams is finished developing but JP clearly does have a lot more growth left.

Also you feel Desharnias makes the team over Nemo? Broberg looks good on his offside.

Broberg has to play the left so he can take over keith's role. Samorukov also prfers his off side. samorukov and desharnais are not waiver exempt where as niemeleinen is.

Desharnais doesn't have the foot speed to play in the NHL IMO.

I just don't get dumping Barrie and then overpaying Kane. And keeping a $2.75M Foegele on the 4th line... it doesn't make sense to me. You can also save money by signing one or both of Puljujarvi and Yamamoto to 1 year deals - there's a lot of cap space that opens up next summer (Keith's $5.5M, Lucic's $750k, Sekera's $1.5M).

I would trade the third year of the contract of either puljujarvi or yamo.

I would trade the 3rd year of Kane. He'll be 33 by then.

Pretty sure Desharnais has exemption still next year. Start of 23-24 he loses it.
