Well, this is a bad trade for boston. All three of those players have a low ceiling. Someone’s gotta come back that has high end potential.

If Pasta comes with an extension, Devils are making out like bandits here.
If its a 1-year rental, it would really depend where that pick is.

I would be disappointed in that return for the Bruins. I mean at this pace we're talking about a 500 goal/1000 point player. Outside of the first round pick, were talking about 3 bottom of the lineup players. If this deal had an extension in place (which would make some sense considering Im not sure if NJD next year will be competing enough to buy a rental) then i think take the Lindholm trade and significantly add.

If the move ends up being to move Pastrnak - the main objective should be to find your next 1C. whether thats in the draft of prospect. the unpredictability of one pick and three meh prospects for me doesnt accomplish that enough.
