I didn’t say that. I said it was a cool group actually. I just explained why moving Durzi wouldn’t make any sense. He’s the one healthy guy, and makes one hell of an impact. Why would they trade that away when they have the system to crank out top 6 forwards?
You originally said they don’t have a ton of depth, and the called durzi one of their only promising replacements. When several people pointed out you are wrong, you said since some guys have been injured before and that other players have not been in the NHL yet so it makes durzi much less expendable.
This is wrong. Just because Sean walker was injured this year does not mean he’s going to miss most of the games over the next two years of his contract. Ditto for doughty and Roy. Plus, yeah obviously the prospects don’t have NHL experience. That doesn’t mean they won’t make the team though? I mean, jordan Spence as seeing PP1 time in THIS playoff series. Helge grans will be 20 in a few days and is probably one season away from NHL, ditto Brandt Clarke and Brock faber.
So, 4 NHL ready D-man in doughty, Roy, Walker, and Spence. 3 AHL ready d-man who are probably one year away in grans, faber, and clarke.
It’s more than just a cool group on paper. It’s is a super deep right side already with some very high potential prospects who will break through very soon
