Getting Talbot is a smart option in net. Could be a buy low (if MAF resigns)
I wouldn't give up on Smith after 1 bad year. Let's see what he can do with a defensive partner

That’s why I kept him and didn’t trade him. Injuries are inevitable. Don’t think he should be in starting lineup come opening night tho

Not a dig at Ty, but the mistakes he made last year were on him, not his defensive partner. Just personally, I don't think having a better defensive partner will fix his mistakes. They were a lot of self-provoked mistakes and his poor skating put him in some bad situations.
