Yeah not gonna happen...seems a little pricy to pay thompson 8mil, especially if you think geekies gonna jump him on the depth chart. Maybe 9 and thompson for 1st overall but probably not. How about thompson for larkin?

Buffalo says no thank you

The only player worth Thompson + 9 at the least is Larkin. (Seider wouldn't hold much value to Buffalo due to Dahlin + Power)

I love that big third line but yeah Sabres aren't doing that. LOL Red Wings will likely stay at #8. Hell will freeze over for Detroit to ever move up in the draft lottery.
