As a die hard Caps fan, today was one of the worst days of my life. First, the Flyers strike gold with the number 2 pick. I'd almost rather have the #2 pick, since there's no pressure to decide on Nico vs Nolan, you just take the one not taken. And then, the really bad part. MAF takes a solid 4 goals away from us, Eller hits a post, the Pens get a lucky break, Pierre and Edzo only talk about how Crosby makes excellent plays when he doesn't really do anything until the end, and we lose 6-2. Basically our death sentence, unless we dominate in Game 3 to give us some sort of life. Damn, I hate Pissburgh.

Where's the option for I like Pittsburgh?

Not the right place for this but not gonna lie, I like the Pens! That team is a pleasure to watch. (As are the Caps though). I like good hockey. I don't care who the team is.

This coming from a Habs fan, I thoroughly enjoyed watching the Leafs this year.

Haha, I don't understand how people can seriously think Crosby is as good as they make him out to sound. When you talk about game-changing players, you think of the players that do a lot of carrying the puck and pushing the pace of the game. Crosby doesn't really do either. He makes easy plays, and everyone praises him like he's some sort of god. I'll admit that the one-handed goal against Buffalo was good, but the goal where he banked it off of Hank's head and in wasn't as good as everyone said it was. Players bank shots all the time, look at the way Erik Karlsson did it just the other day. I don't see ESPN giving him all the praise in the world for making a more difficult shot.

Hey guys. I just thought I should share a couple things.

I was quite young when DET and PIT played back to back years in the SCF. I'm 17 now, I was 8 in 2008 when DET won the cup. I remember being sad because I wanted the team from the east to win because the only team I hated was the Flyers (Dad took me to Game 5 and 7 in the series VS the Flyers in '08, been hooked on hockey since).

So when I woke up and my dad told me DET won the cup that morning, I was sad.

Next year, we played the Rangers in round 1 and won. I remember my dad hoisting me like a trophy over his head after Federov scored the GWG in game 7. We went to game 1 of that series.

Next series, my dad surprised me with tickets to game 7 vs the penguins. I was ecstatic. We went to plenty of home games that year, but playoffs were so cool to me. I loved how loud it was. Game 7 of round 2 was where I wanted to be.

We left before the game was halfway over because it hurt so bad to see the penguins destroy the caps in game 7. From that moment on, I hated the penguins.

So I leave you with this: **** THE PENS
