Wow really early to sign him. Maybe he will be coming to play in a NA league? Or maybe somewhere like Liiga or SHL? Otherwise I don't see the point in having him sign an NHL contract when they own his rights indefinitely. Really like his potential, could be an offensive force or could be nothing

1. Putin
2. He will likely play in the AHL. Why do you think it is really early? Peterka was playing this year in the AHL and he was drafted in 2020.

He's going to be 20 in November. Peterka wasn't 20 until January.
Why not sign him now and get him over here? I really don't see any downside.
The Amerks could use some prospects and help.

I don't see him as being ready for pro hockey. He's only 150lbs, could use more time in juniors to develop his game and put on some more muscle. Big difference between him and Peterka, Peterka is an elite prospect and already has a body ready for pro hockey. I hope I'm wrong and he plays in the A next year and does fantastic, but by rule of thumb typically guys his size need to add strength before they are effective in NA

We have no idea how much he weighs. Don't believe any news coming out of Russsia. Alll jokes aside, get him to BUF for some pizza and wings. He'll add 10-20lbs. The kid is quick. That can keep him out of getting hit hard in the AHL. I'd rather him in ROC than RUS.
