Polak played with Heiskanen and looked like a Norris D with him, so I have no problem seeing him on the first pair.

These are very good moves IMO.

Those two buy out and organizing the roster so that Miro plays on his strong side is paramount if you ask me.

I think that the Seguin/Benn ship has sailed. Benn is now a pure third liner so I would switch him with Peterson.

Next training camp should be fun. Lots of new talent will be competing for a spot in Bourque, Johnston and Stankoven.

But, for all of those moves, we need new GM and new coaching staff that are not following ‘90 hockey book strategies and roster construction.

wouldn’t be too opposed to the MTL trade
and are you just trying to save gurianov? because personally i think he could have more value than that

I'd request the 2nd be in 2023, Montreal has too many 2022 picks. I don't love it for Montreal.

Its also not a trade Montreal makes at the draft unless they get more clarity on Price and its that he wont play next season before then. They aren't going to take Khudobin unless they know they need another veteran goalie.

Don't have a 2023 2nd if offer sheeting Liljegren, which is a priority.

You can get 2024 2nd though.

While I think Guri has more value, if Bowness insist on holding him in the press box there's little he can do to prove his value.

Faksa is having a "decent" PO. Maybe the new GM can lure another old time GM to take him and his contract for a bag of pucks.

I would even throw a late pick with Radek so we can get rid of that contract and move on from that style of play.

Eh, that's probably too far down the road. I already don't like the trade outside unless Petry still wants out and its the best offer, and Price being LTIRetired.

I'd much rather have at least Dellandrea over Back if the return is only a 3 round jump in a worst draft.

Picks are from different drafts, and you're not getting Dellandrea.
